The rarest and most expensive Lamborghini cars ever, one of which is not for sale
Lamborghini is one of the most iconic car brands in the world, known for cars with exotic designs but with performance that is no joke. Models such as the Miura, Countach or Diablo made this Italian manufacturer the automotive giant it is today.
As a little tribute to Lamborghini, we want to discuss the rarest and most expensive car made by this automotive company based in Sant’Agata Bolognese. Here are the 5 Rarest and Most Expensive Lamborghini Cars Ever according to circuit1events.com:
1. Egoista (2013)
The rarest and arguably most expensive Lamborghini ever made. This Italian manufacturer only makes one Egoista model and it is not for sale. The only way to own this car is to buy the entire Lamborghini company. In 1998, Audi bought Lamborghini for no more than $117 million. And today, Lamborghini is worth $11 billion. You can imagine how expensive Egoista is.
2. SC18 Alston (2019)
Introduced in November 2018, the SC18 Alston is the only track-only hypercar created for customers in collaboration with the motorsport division, Lambo Squadra Corse. The “SC” in the car’s name is taken from the abbreviation Squadra Corse.
The engine powered by the SC18 Alston is a more powerful variant of the Aventador’s naturally aspirated V12, producing 770 hp and 720 Nm of torque, which helps the SC18 reach 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds. The SC18 Alston itself is the second most expensive and rarest car ever made by Lamborghini, with a price of $7 million and only one unit was made.
3. Veneno (2014)
There are two main opinions regarding this car. Firstly, this is the ugliest designed car ever made by Lamborghini. Second, the car has a unique design and is one of Lamborghini’s best works. However, this car is the third most expensive and rarest car ever made by Lamborghini.
Only 13 Venenos, consisting of 4 coupes and 9 roadsters, were ever built, priced at $4 million each. Introduced at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, this high-performance car was developed to celebrate Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary. The engine is another development of the V12 Aventador, with a power output of 740 hp and 690 Nm of torque. With a top speed of 355 km/h, this car can go from 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds.
4. Sian FKP 37 (2020)
The Sian is limited to just 63 units, with one model priced at $3.6 million. The Sian is a mid-engine hybrid hypercar that debuted at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show. The FKP 37 also shares most of its engines with the Aventador SVJ.
In addition, the Sian is equipped with an electric motor integrated into the gearbox. As a result, the total power produced is 808 hp, which means the Sian is Lamborghini’s most powerful production vehicle.
5. Sesto Elemento (2012)
With a design like a “Batmobile”, the Sesto Elemento is priced at $3 million and only 20 units were made. Sesto Elemento itself means ‘sixth sense’ in Italian. The naming of Sesto Elemento itself is inspired by the atomic number of Carbon in the periodic table, namely six and Carbon is the main material that makes up the body of Sesto Elemento.
This model debuted in 2010 in Paris. Carrying a 5.2 liter V10 engine, this machine can produce 562 hp of power and 540 Nm of torque. Combined with an all-wheel-drive system and a six-speed semi-automatic transmission, this car can reach 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds.
